The Grift is a historical point and click adventure where you play a conman in 19th century England. Swindle your way through the streets of London selling plots of land for a fictitious country.
Development
I created the game independently as a part of my MA Indie Game Development course at Falmouth University.
The Grift is inspired by the 'greatest con in history', the Poyais Scheme, with an original story and characters. The project involved in depth research, ideation, narrative design and writing. Documentation included character bios, dialogue systems and cinematics.
